Dr. Mohammad Tahir, MD

Mohammad Tahir, M.D. was born in Pakistan. He attended the Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. His internship was performed at Scunthorpe General Hospital in England. His Residency in Internal Medicine was performed at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Tahir's Cardiology Fellowship was at SUNY University Hospital at Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Tahir is licensed to practice in the states of Missouri and Illinois. He is on staff at Christian Hospital Northeast, DePaul Health Center and Gateway Regional Medical Center (the latter in Granite City, Illinois). He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Tahir currently practices invasive and non-invasive cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and an Associate in the American College of Physicians.
