WEEKEND NURSE PRACTITIONER (ROUND IN HOSPITAL)
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
St. Louis Heart and Vascular is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to assist the physicians in providing excellent cardiac patient care in the hospital.
The Staff and Physicians of St. Louis Heart and Vascular work closely with each patient and referring physician to create a customized plan of prevention or treatment that is geared to the patient’s personal cardiovascular needs. Description:
Hospital duties will include rounding, patient education and patient discharge.
Qualifications:
Must have excellent communication skills and good rapport with patients.
Current licensure and certification is required.
Graduate of Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program, or Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant Program.
1 year Cardiology or Critical Care experience either as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant.
Experience may include ICU, CCU, TCU, or Emergency Room.
ACLS/CPR Certified
